If you’re just getting stuck into the new Faction content that’s just gone live in Destiny 2, chances are you want to know how to farm those Faction Tokens blisteringly fast.
Well, the community’s already got this one covered, having spent all of three hours stripmining the game world in order to find all of the fastest ways to get more of those lovely tokens. Plus ca change…
Anyway, you won’t find anyone at geeksplatform complaining about this, as fond as we are of a good grind as anyone else. In this article we’ll be providing a regularly updated resource of how to get more Faction Tokens with minimum effort.

Io Lost Sector Faction Token farming
Nice and easy this one. Here are all the steps you need to farm Faction Tokens quickly on Io. You can get around 6 Faction Tokens every minute or so using this method.
- Make your way to the Lost Oasis Landing Zone on the planet Io.
- Look for the entrance to the Lost Sector that’s just to your left. Ride your Sparrow there for bonus speedfarming.
- Race inside ony our vehicle for as long as you can, then just run all the way in until you come to the main cavern.
- Shoot both of the boxes you can see here from range, then just run past the enemies into the next room
- Clear out the box in the next room, then keep going forwards until you come to a new area.
- Shoot the three boxes you find here.
- Return to Lost Oasis and repeat it!

Trostland Lost Sector Faction Token farming
This one’s incredibly easy, just head to Devrim Kay’s location on EDZ. Next, run as fast as you can to the Lost Sector near him and kill everything inside until you’re back out in Trostland. Now just run back in and blitz it again.
People are claiming this can be done in 30 seconds with the Mida Mini / Multi Tool equipped and we’ve seen reports of 100 Faction Tokens achieved in just over 20 minutes.
Farming Faction Tokens with Public Events
If you get bored of running those Lost Sectors over and over again, just hit up some Public Events. Specifically, make sure you complete them on Heroic mode, as you’ll receive a grand total of eight Faction Tokens for doing so.
