Ex6TenZ and SmithZz reported to be leaving G2
Two players from 3DMAX predicted to take their place.
G2 is reportedly set to replace Kevin “Ex6TenZ” Droolans and Edouard “SmithZz” Dubourdeaux, according to vpesports.com.
Two relatively inexperienced players from 3DMAX will be filling in for their positions instead: Audric “JACKZ” Jug and Lucas “Lucky” Chastang. Both have impressed in recent months with decent performances with 3DMAX, and have shown that they have strong potential to reinvigorate an ailing team.
JACKZ is known for being a skill-based player, while Lucky totes more a hybrid style, excelling at both AWPing and rifling.
It’s also worth noting that AWP superstar Kenny “kennyS” Schrub could be extending his contract with G2 Esports, according to the same report by vpesports.
With Ex6TenZ’ departure, it’s likely that Richard “shox” Papillon will take over the shotcalling role, as he has previous experience being G2’s in-game leader and mid-round shot-caller too.
If the reported roster move takes place, here’s what G2’s lineup would look like:
- Richard “shox” Papillon
- Alexandre “bodyy” Pianaro
- Kenny “kennyS” Schrub
- Lucas “Lucky” Chastang
- Audric “JaCkz” Jug
