The first details of the very tempting new player pack.
On this page you’ll find details of the Fortnite: Battle Royale Starter Pack, including the cost, cosmetic items and V-Bucks included with it.
A new bundle item will be added to Fortnite: Battle Royale in the next 24 hours. The new shop item comes at an extremely accessible price, and includes a healthy chunk of V-Bucks as well as some very cool cosmetic items.
Called – simply enough – the Fortnite: Battle Royale Starter Pack, this item will provide you with 600 V-Bucks, the Rogue Agent Outfit and the Catalyst Back Bling. Note that those final two items can only be used in the Battle Royale mode of Fortnite, not the PVE-focused Save the World. [Fortnite: Battle Royale Skins – All free and premium outfits]

In what will no doubt be very welcome news for free to play gamers who have yet to spend real money on the game, the Starter Pack will be available for a very tempting price of just $4.99. We’ve not yet had confirmation of pricing in other regions outside of the United States, but it seems reasonable to expect a similarly low barrier of entry for the bundle elsewhere.
Beyond the cosmetic items, those V-Bucks are sure to come in handy as well. The Season 3 Battle Pass was expected to cost real money at launch, but Epic subsequently decided to make it available to purchase using V-Bucks. If that model continues into Season 4, you’ll have yourself a nice little stash of currency to put towards the cost.
