Fortnite Challenges – Week 9 Challenges list plus Crater locations and Movie Titles

We’re closing in on the final stages of Fornite Season 4, and as we head into Week 9 we’ve got another set of challenges which’ll give us another chance to rank up before Season 5 is upon us.
Manage to complete a few of these challenges each week and you’ll earn Battle Stars which’ll go towards ranking up your Battle Pass. Get those ranks up and you’ll receive cosmetic rewards to kit your character out with. It’s a pretty straight forward process which usually involves scouring the map for buried treasure or eliminating players with a specific set of weaponry.
It sounds like a massive effort, but trust us, it’s well worth dipping your toes into. Put some real effort into completing these challenges you’ll be rewarded handsomely with Battle Stars, Gliders, Backblings, FX Trails and more.
Of course it’s not all plain sailing. There are always a couple of challenges per week that are significantly harder than the others. To help you out we’ve put together a guide that’ll take you through every Week 9 Challenge and provide some tips to beating them in next to no time.

Fortnite: Week 9 Challenges List
Here’s a quick overview of all the challenges in Week 9. Click on the links if you want to jump straight to a section that’s causing you particular problems this week!
- Deal damage with Explosive Weapons to opponents (0/500). 5 Battle Points

- Use a Shopping Cart (0/1). 5 Battle Points
- Visit the centre of Named Locations in a Single Match (0/4). 5 Battle Points
- Follow the treasure map found in Haunted Hills – HARD (0/1). 10 Battle Points
- Shotgun Eliminations – HARD (0/4). 10 Battle Points
- Eliminate opponents in Anarchy Acres – HARD (0/3). 10 Battle Points
Those are all of the Fortnite Week 9 Challenges, then, but how do you actually complete them all? Read on for all the help you could possibly need!
Deal Explosive Damage to opponents
To complete this challenge you’ll need to be land 500 explosive damage on opponents across any number of matches. Get this out of the way quickly by prioritising loot over anything else.
Crack open as many chests as possible and loot as many corpses as possible, until you get your hands on an explosive weapon of any kind. Ideally you’ll want to get hold of Rocket Launcher or Grenade Launcher as these are the easiest to handle and will give you the best chance of landing some splash damage in the middle of a fight.
Remember that explosive Grenades count too, so throw them into a skirmish and see if you can land some hits too.
Search chests in Moisty Mire
For this challenge there’s nothing for it but to land here as soon as the match begins. Once you’ve hit ground, start scouring the area for chests and begin cracking them open. Speed is of the essence here as you’ll want to reach these chests before anyone else.
If you get eliminated, simply return to the lobby and try again until the challenge is complete!
Use a Shopping Cart
This is nice and simple, and only requires that you find a Shopping Cart and use one. We’ve put together a guide that contains all Shopping Cart locations across the map, so be sure to check it out if you’re struggling to locate one.
Visit the centre of Named Locations in a Single Match
For this challenge you’ll simply need to visit the centre of four named locations in a single match, so it’s a case of landing smack bang in the middle of somewhere like Junk Junction and sprinting to other places as quickly as possible!

Follow the treasure map found in Haunted Hills
This challenge tasks you with hunting down the treasure map found in Haunted Hills on Fortnite’s map for some Battle Stars.

Shotgun Eliminations
This challenge is pretty simple and involves getting stuck in with a Shotgun. It goes without saying that you’ll need to hunt one down, but once you’ve found one, prioritise its usage in every scrap.
Focus on getting up close and personal, and land those Shotgun shots to bag the eliminations.
Eliminate opponents in Anarchy Acres
To complete this final challenge your best bet is to glide into Anarchy Acres as soon as the Battle Bus gives you the chance. Search for a weapon once you’ve hit the ground and get on the offensive right away. Chances are you’ll catch some players off guard before they’ve even had a chance to loot up.
