Fortnite: Week 6 Challenges guide – where to spray over posters, find hidden Battle Stars and more

0

Our comprehensive guide to completing all Week 6 Challenges in Season 4 of Fortnite.

Our Fortnite Week 6 Challenges guide contains a list of all the challenges in Week 6 of Season 5, with tips, tricks and strategy advice for completing each one and earning your Battle Star rewards.

We’re over halfway into Season 5 (where does time go?) and Week 6’s tasks are easily some of the toughest yet. While the challenge structure is largely the same, “Search for chests here”, “Deal damage to opponents there”, it’s where and how you’re carrying out these missions that’s extra tricky this time around.

The real kicker for the free challenge offerings involves dealing headshot damage to opponents. You’re going to need a clear aim here, although if you keep this one in the back of your mind you should eventually tick it off through natural play. The remaining two are pretty simple, but you’ll find help for completing them all right here.

Swinging our attention to the Battle Pass challenges and all of them pose some difficulty. You’ll need to eliminate opponents in the death trap that’s Tilted Towers, race against the clock in a handful of Timed Trials, gather kills with the clunky Minigun or Light Machine Gun and search for Chests in the cramped confines of Lonely Lodge.

To help you out, we’ve put together a complete list of all Week 6’s challenges as well a tips, tricks and strategy advice for each one.

It’s worth quickly mentioning that these challenges are subject to change before they go live in-game, but we’re pretty certain this is the definitive list. Of course, if things do get tweaked on the day, we’ll update this page immediately with all the new stuff.

Those are all of the challenges available in Week 6 of Fortnite Season 5, then, but how do you complete them all? Good question, and in the rest of this article we’ll go through each task one by one.

Deal Headshot Damage to opponents

The name of this challenge does a pretty good job of explaining what’s in store here. You will be need to inflict a total of 500 Headshot Damage to finish this one, but there are a number of weeks left in Season 5 so as long as you keep this one in mind you should finish it eventually.

Harvest building resources with a pickaxe

This one’s pretty simply thankfully. All you need to do is harvest 5,000 worth of any building material with your pickaxe, so it’s a case of spending as much of your time as possible whacking trees, cars, walls, anything until the job’s done.

This challenge requires you to find a very specific spot on the map in order to get your hands on the Battle Star prize. It’s located to the south-west of Salty Springs, but if you need more detail than that we have a dedicated Search where the Stone Heads are looking page.

Search Chests in Lonely Lodge

For this challenge you’ll need to crack open a total of seven chests in Lonely Lodge over the course of as many games as it takes.

Focus all your efforts on landing as fast as you can in this location and seeking out as many chests as you can muster before the competition gets there. Just be warned that it’s going to be heaving with players when this challenge first goes live!

If you’re after a better idea of where most of Lonely Lodge’s chests are located, this video by The Goblin is incredibly useful. Do make sure to give it a thumbs up and consider subscribing for more helpful content.

Complete Timed Trials

This challenge requires you to locate the Timed Trials starter icons on the map, then race to reach a series of markers before the timer expires.

Take a look at our Fortnite: Timed Trials guide for more insight about how to find the markers and complete the task.

Minigun or Light Machine Gun Eliminations

Again, like the Remote Explosive challenge before it, this requires you to get hold of a Minigun or Light Machine Gun first.

Once you’ve done so, we’d recommend using it on someone who’s holed themselves up in a fort. This way you can spray them down and catch them off guard while they’re scrabbling to build more defenses.

Alternatively you can team up with a group of friends and “share” the kill when an enemy is in a down-but-not-out state. Just whip out either the Minigun or Light Machine Gun to finish them off.

Eliminate Opponents in Tilted Towers

To get this final challenge out of the way, it’s best to apply a similar strategy to that of the Lonely Lodge chest opening task. Dedicate a few games to landing in Tilted Towers as quickly as you can, grabbing gear before everyone else and getting aggressive while your opponents are still scrambling for loot.

If possible, we’d recommend making a beeline for any clear loot you can see towards the top of a building as you’ll immediately have high ground advantage.
