HCT Summer Championship 2017 deck lists released – Hearthstone
Blizzard lifts the lid on every deck being fielded at the upcoming competition.
The deck lists for all sixteen competitors at the upcoming Hearthstone Championship Tour (HCT) Summer Championship have now been released by Blizzard. You can view all of them over at the official Hearthstone site.
Alongside the actual deck lists, Blizzard also lifted the lid on some very interesting stats about the type of decks players are bringing to the tournament.
Here’s the chart which breaks down hero popularity by region:
Priest, Rogue and Druid are proving popular across the globe, while Hunter’s looking like the least well-represented of all nine Hearthstone heroes. All in all it’s a pretty fair reflection of the broader Hearthstone metagame we’re enjoying at this stage of the Frozen Throne era.
The action kicks off at Blizzard‘s brand-new Blizzard Arena in Los Angeles from next Friday 13th October 2017. The Conquest format will be in use for the weekend’s action, which sees players competing in a best-of-five format where a winning deck can only be used once. For a full lowdown on the tournament, take a look at our HCT Summer Championship page.

Don’t forget either that you can bag yourself some free Frozen Throne card packs just for backing one of the competitors. If your choice of player wins, you can bag a maximum of four free packs – have a look at our recent Choose Your Champion coverage for details on how to get started with the promotion.
Based on current form, we reckon Pavel is as solid a bet as any other to take home victory, but who are you backing? Let us know who you’re staking your free packs on in the comments.
