0

Here's how to easily add and share decks.

Our Legends of Runeterra Deck Import and Export guide explains how to get and share deck codes, as well as import or export decks to, or from your collection.

If you’re looking for a rundown of the best decks Legends of Runeterra has to offer, check out our Legends of Runeterra Best Decks page!

If you’re struggling to find success in Legends of Runeterra, the synergy between the cards in your deck may be a contributing factor. If you’re new to the world of card games, or even if you’re a veteran of the genre, putting together a decent deck can be seriously tricky. It can be an arduous process, requiring rigorous testing, and potentially a tonne of cash spent buying cards which may or may not fit your composition.

Thankfully, there’s a way to import a powerful deck you’ve seen online, paste in a code, and watch as the game automatically pieces the deck together for you. It’s a minimal effort affair, which’ll grant you a decent deck in seconds. Of course, this works the other way too. If you’ve crafted a deck which you want to share with others, you can send them a deck code which they can copy and paste into their client, and they’ll then have it in their collection.

As is often the case, Legends of Runeterra doesn’t make this feature particularly clear. It’s a little tucked away, and lacks any tooltips or explanations. To help you out, we’ve put together a quick guide which’ll help you import and export deck codes with ease.

How to use deck codes in Legends of Runeterra

How to import deck codes

Once you’re in the client, click on the “Collection” tab on the left side of the screen and it’ll show you all of the decks in your possession.

Next, head to the page which contains the deck code you want to copy. Our deck guides show the codes clearly below each individual deck, but some other sites will have an “Export code” button. Make sure you copy and paste these codes to begin the import process.

Now, look at the top of the screen and you’ll see the “Import Deck” button.

Click this button and it’ll say “Enter code”. Drop your chosen deck code in, select Import Deck and the tool will automatically drop this deck into your collection. It’ll be named “Imported Deck” and you can edit it just like any other if you wish to make any adjustments.

When you import a deck, you may not own all of the cards required to play it. To check, select “Edit”, and look to the left of the screen. It’s here where you’ll see all the cards listed. The number to the right indicates how many of that card are in the deck. If this is highlighted in blue, you own all of the necessary cards. If it’s red, you will need to purchase them using Wild Cards.

To to do, right click on the card/s you want to purchase, and select the big “Wildcard” option, or the shards just below it.

How to export deck codes

If you want to share a deck with a friend, or post a particularly strong one online for people to try out, then there’s a simple way to do so.

Head to the “Collection” tab and left click on the deck which you wish to share. Next, click the “Share” button and it’ll show you a string of code. Share this with anyone and they’ll be able to import the deck you’ve created.
