Destiny 2: Open beta extended
It's now available for a little longer.
Destiny 2’s open beta is sticking around until 1am on Wednesday 26th July. For those of you in the US that’s 6pm PT on Tuesday 25th July.
The beta was originally planned to finish at 5am BST this morning, but Bungie decided to keep it up and running for “additional service testing”.
The Destiny 2 Open Beta has been extended through Tuesday 7/25 for additional service testing. Expected completion is 6 PM PDT.

There’s no confirmation on anything new being added to the beta, which means that it’ll still contain the same content: two Crucible maps, the Inverted Spire Strike and Destiny 2’s opening story mission, Homecoming.
Destiny 2’s social space, The Farm, opened up last night for around an hour, and gave players an opportunity to explore the area and see who or what might end up being there when the game launches later this year. Make sure you check out our Farm guide for all the latest details.
