Beta details also confirmed for the sequel.
Destiny 2 will be released for the PC on 24th October 2017.
The news was confirmed at this year’s E3 event in Los Angeles, where it was also confirmed that the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 version of the game would come out two days earlier than originally planned. The console edition will now launch on Wednesday 6th September.
You’ll be able to get an early look at the game by participating in the Destiny 2 beta, which is scheduled to begin at the following times:
- PlayStation 4: 18th July at 10:00 PDT (18:00 UK)
- Xbox One: 19th July at 10:00 PDT (18:00 UK)
The beta ends on both platforms at 10:00 PDT on the 21st July.
