Fortnite: 5.30 patch notes unveil a brand new grenade and returning game mode

Blast your enemies through walls with the latest addition to Fortnite's arsenal.

Continuing Fortnite’s steady trickle of new content, patch V.530 brings with it a brand new Shockwave Grenade and the return of the Solid Gold LTM too.

The Shockwave Grenade is a less lethal take on the Impulse Grenade, but packs a greater punch when it comes to the flinging targets into the air. Chuck it at an enemy’s feet and it’ll launch them skyward with such force that it can even blast players through structures. They won’t take any fall damage though, so it’s more about forcing enemies out of their comfort zone and picking them off when they’re out in the open than launching players off cliffs.

The Solid Gold LTM has returned and is available to play right now! It’s essentially a traditional game of Fortnite: Battle Royale that’s been blessed with Midas’s touch. This means every loot drop consists of Legendary weapons, making it perfect for those who want a chaotic game only made up of the best gear the game has to offer.
