Fortnite on Scratch is here and it’s completely ridiculous
Can't get your usual fix of Epic's blockbuster game? Try this version
If you’re struggling to get a game of Fortnite going because either of the servers are down or you’re somehow unable to play the game through work or school servers, then help is here. Sort of.
Fortnite on the Scratch development platforms offers an interesting, alternative take on the world’s most popular game at the time of writing – and we have to admit that despite its simplicity it’s actually quite moreish.
Once you fire up the game you’ll be dropped onto a decidedly – and intentionally – 2D low-res version of the game world where’ll you have to wander around and collect weapons as usual. As you get near enemies they become visible and, well, you know what to do from here by now.

Controls are simple if you want to try it out for yourself. Simply move around the map floor with WASD, hitting F if you want to sprint. To aim just move the mouse around, and you can fire by holding down the left mouse button. Hit R to reload, and grab new weapons off the floor using Q and E.
It’s all good silly fun and we highly recommend it if you need to kill a few minutes between Fortnite rounds!
