Everything you need to know about the finals taking place in Los Angeles next month.
The date for the HCT Winter Championship Finals has at last been confirmed by Blizzard, with the final matches scheduled to take place between February 28th and March 3rd.
16 players have qualified for the finals based on a series of playoff stages that have been held across the Americas, Europe, Asia-Pacific and China regions.
Those who have made it to the finals can now look forward to doing battle over the greater part of the overall $250,000 prize pool, and bag some essential HCT Points in the process too.

Four regions will be represented in the very final matches of the HCT Winter Championship.

HCT Winter Championship Finals Schedule
As we mentioned at the start of this article, the finals are being held from February 28th to March 3rd.
Matches will be broadcast between 8:30am and 8:30pm PT on each day of the event.

- GMT: 4:30pm | 4:30am
- CEST: 5:30pm | 5:30am

HCT Winter Championship Finals Stream
The finals will take place at Blizzard‘s Esports Arena in Los Angeles, but there won’t be any publicly available tickets on this occasion.
Matches will instead be broadcast on the official Hearthstone Twitch stream, which we’ve embedded for you below:
HCT Winter Championship Finals Format
Here are the format rules for the finals:
- Stage 1: A double-elimination group stage.
- Stage 2: A single-elimination playoff bracket.
- Groups will consist of four players, and will feature one player from each of the four regions.
- All matches will be conducted as best-of-five encounters.
- The Conquest format will be in place for the entire tournament.
- Players will need to submit four decks, so as to accommodate the single ban option available to each player.
