Red Dead Redemption 2’s story is a long and winding affair, and there’s no shortage of distractions to tempt you off the beaten path as you make your way through it. It’s a big old world out there, after all, with plenty of challenges and side missions to get stuck into.
Assuming you are working your way through the epic story dilligently, however, you may want to know just how far you are through the main campaign. If you’d like to know how many chapters you have remaining in your current playthrough, we’ve put together a list of chapters and their names.
Keep in mind that although there’s very little in the way of hard spoilers right here, you might not want to know some of the themes and locations in each chapter name – if that’s the case, best to look away now.

So, there you go. There are six core chapters in Red Dead Redemption, with two Epilogue sections to work through once you’re done with the main thrust of the story.
Keep in mind that future DLC for the game will likely expand on the structure of the story in various ways, although it’ll likely take the form of a new adventure.
If you’ve had enough of the storyline by the time that comes around though, the good news is that the beta of Red Dead Redemption 2 Online will be launching towards the end of November, and should allow for plenty of open-ended chaos.
