Nadeshot and pr0lly answered some pressing community questions.
Having finished at the bottom of the table in the 2019 LCS Spring Split, 100 Thieves certainly don’t want to be in the same position again.
With this in mind, 100 Thieves team owner Matthew “Nadeshat” Haag and head coach Neil “pr0lly” Hammad took to Youtube to answer a few community questions on what’s changing within the organisation to help improve its standings next split.
One of the most important takeaways from the video is the likelihood that the 100 Thieves roster will see some changes next split. Pr0lly believes that the team has “strong parts”, but that the “sum is less than the parts right now”.
”I definitely don’t think there’s going to be a situation where we have the exact same roster, because we had enough time to make it work but we weren’t able to do that.”
Nadeshot adds that a roster change is “not a bad thing” and echoes pr0lly’s sentiment.
“If you do everything you can to fix those problems, and it’s still not working, then you have to switch up the recipe”.
Another issue they confronted was team mentality and they both acknowledged that hiring a team psychologist or performance coach would be incredibly beneficial for the roster.
Pr0lly explained that 100 Thieves did not hire a sports psychologist for the Spring Split as they thought their team of veterans would not “reverberate very well with a sports psychologist and they’ll be much more interested in the X’s and O’s of the game”.
A little later on pr0lly expressed his desire to hire a sports psychologist to help raise the team morale to deal with rough patches, having admitted that he works well when the team is winning, but struggles to lift the team’s spirits when they are in a slump.

It’s clear they’ve had a tough time this split, but also that they’ve recognised those problems and are doing their utmost to fix them. Only time will tell if these changes will pay dividends next split.
