Six exciting new cards to give you just a taste of what's next for Hearthstone.
There will be a grand total of 134 new cards coming in the next Hearthstone expansion, titled Whispers of the Old Gods and due for release at some point towards either the end of April or the beginning of May. Fingers crossed we’ll have a firmer date to work with in the near future.
So far, Blizzard has chosen to reveal just six of the new cards that are being added to the game with the next set, but they’re an intriguing mix to put it mildly. Most exciting of all is the first of the Old Gods to be revealed, C’Thun. He can be beefed up by Beckoner of Evil and Twilight Elder as you’ll see below.
Another theme of the new expansion is that of corruption, where existing cards have been given a devilish twist. Validated Doomsayer, Corrupted Healbot and Polluted Hoarder are the first such cards we’ve had a glimpse of.
No doubt in the days and weeks ahead we’ll see even more of the new cards coming with Whispers of the Old Gods – for now, feast your eyes and get theorycrafting on the cards below!
