Final eight teams confirmed for the League of Legends Worlds 2018 quarterfinals
Quarterfinalists to play their matches this coming weekend.
The quarterfinalists of the League of Legends Worlds 2018 tournament have now been locked in and bracketed against each other.
They’ll now enter the knockout stage of the competition, which includes the quarterfinal, semifinal and final matches of Worlds.
Here’s how the match-ups for the final eight look:
- QF1 – Afreeca Freecs v Cloud9
- QF2 – Fnatic v Edward Gaming
- QF3 – Royal Never Give Up v G2 Esports
- QF4 – KT Rolster v Invictus Gaming

As for the subsequent semifinal stage, the winners of QF1 and QF2 will play each other for a spot in the final, with the QF3 and QF4 winners likewise fighting for their spot in the last epic match of the tournament.
All three remaining stages of Worlds 2018 will be held across a series of South Korean cities.
The imminent quarterfinal stage will be held at Busan between the 20th and 21st October. The semifinals will play out in Gwangju on the 27th-28th October. The grand final itself will be held on the 3rd November in Incheon.
