Both teams qualify for the final showdown with a dominating display.
Both Fnatic and Invictus gaming have triumphed at this weekend’s semi-final matches of Worlds 2018, and are now set for a final showdown against each other at the start of November.
Fnatic were able to overcome fellow semi-finalists Cloud9 with a show of domination that saw them take victory in three consecutive wins. Invictus Gaming likewise put in a powerful 3-0 display against their opponents G2 Esports.
If you’d like to see just how impressive those performances were, take a look at the video-on-demand that we’ve embedded for you right here:

Fnatic’s success marks the first time that a western team has reached the Worlds final since Season One – an achievement reached by Fnatic themselves, who went on to win the tournament that year.
Will history repeat itself? We’ll have to wait and see what happens on Saturday 3rd November, when the two teams will meet in Incheon, South Korea to decide who will be crowned the World 2018 champions.
The action kicks off at 12:30am PT, which is 7:30am over here in the UK, and 8:30am in mainland Europe. We’ll have a post for you on the homepage with details of how to watch as we approach the weekend.
