When the third and final wing of Icecrown Citadel opens in your region.
The third and final wing of Icecrown Citadel – the location of the new Mission content released with the Knights of the Frozen Throne expansion – will be released in the US in just over 24 hours from now. When exactly will you be able to tuck into this final showdown with the Lich King in your own corner of the world though?
Just ahead of the expansion launch, Blizzard announced that this final chunk of single-player content – named Showdown with the Lich King – will kick off at 10.00am PDT on Thursday 24th August.
In this final challenge, you’ll need to defeat the Lich King himself. Do so with all nine heroes and you’ll even unlock a new Paladin Arthas portrait – just be warned that the final boss will use different tactics against different class’s, and will present a formidable challenge.
