Discover what's in store for you in this week's Brawl.
A new Tavern Brawl is now live across all Hearthstone regions, and this week sees the return of Spellbook Duel! This particular Brawl first cropped up in January this year, and this is the second time around for the challenge.
Here’s the official description straight from the game:
Choose your spellbook carefully, champion! Pick 10 cards, and anytime you would draw a card, you instead Discover a copy of a card from your deck.
This one’s a little trickier to wrap your head around than most, so we’ll outline the basics for you.
- First you choose class.
- Once you’ve picked your preferred hero, you next have to select a total of 10 cards from your current collection. Note that you can only choose one of each card.
- You’ll Mulligan as usual, but each card you subsequently draw will be determined on the Discover mechanic. You’ll have to pick one of three cards from that starting pool of 10 you created.
- If a card you play has an effect that draws you a card, you’ll need to spend one Mana to play the Peruse card that appears. No cheating!
We’ve had a lot of success using the Wild Giants Hunter deck that we covered on the site recently, so give that one a go if you’d like a starting point. There are quite a few Epics in that list, but if you’ve played much Handlock in the past then you’ll already own most of them.
