Team Liquid continued their winning form during week 2 of the LCS, and now move into the next round of competition with four wins under their belt.
Team Liquid dismissed Clutch Gaming in convincing fashion, which cements their place at the top of the standings. Sitting now on a 4-0 run, they are the only team to remain undefeated in the league so far.
Flyquest aren’t far behind, having secured an upset against TSM to move into second place in the league. We’ll be treated to a face off between Flyquest and Team Liquid next week, and it’ll be interesting to see if Liquid can finally be stopped.
Clutch Gaming, Echo Fox, TSM, Optic Gaming, C9 and CLG are all tied at third place in the league with two wins and two losses each.
C9 versus CLG offered the most exciting match of the week and provided plenty of back and forth action. In the end CLG prevailed with a team composition which proved too difficult for C9 to break down.
100 Thieves toppled Golden Guardians, which places 100 Thieves at fourth, and leaves Golden Guardians languishing at bottom with zero wins.
