The Twitch Rivals: League of Legends Showdown finals begin today
Two teams will battle it out for a slice of the $75,000 prize pool.
The Twitch Rivals: League of Legends Showdown finals begin today at 10:00AM PT (8:00PM UTC), along with the Bronze Medal match.
The third-place tiebreaker will see For Fun Feeders and SAT T1 going head to head for the Bronze Medal. Straight after that it’ll be onto the grand final between Team One Tricks and EZ Clap, after which we’ll know which squad was worthy of the $75,000 prize pool.
Going into the final, Team One Tricks hold a strong record. They’ve only dropped one game in three matches so far, and pulled off a convincing 2-0 victory over SAT T1 in the semifinals to secure their spot in the final encounter.
Interestingly enough, EZ Clap practically mirrored those results on their own journey to the finals. They too dropped just one game in three matches, although the semifinal proved their toughest test with a 2-1 victory over For Fun Feeders.
